Irving Vázquez is a graphic designer, illustrator, and concert photographer originally from Ecatepec, Estado de Mexico. He studied at Minneapolis Community and Technical College (now Minneapolis College) and has since made a name for himself within the Latinx community in Minnesota. As a media consultant with Tlalnepantla Arts in the Festival de las Calaveras, Irving has collaborated with local artists such as Deborah Ramos, Christina Tavera, and Luis Fitch, among others, and is a member of Serpentina Arts. Irving is also the co-founder of 00.0 Sound System, where he has documented Latin American alternative rock bands that come to Minnesota and the Midwest. He is a strong supporter and promoter of local Latin alternative bands. 2018, he created Rockeros En MN Facebook Group to bring the Latinx Rock community closer to the music scene. In 2019, Irving joined Unidos MN (formerly Navigate MN) as a digital organizer and is now the Digital Director. He has participated in many statewide and national campaigns, including "Driver's Licenses for All" and "Health Care for All." Irving's passions for creativity and music have made him a valuable asset to the Latinx community in Minnesota.
